Pick Up Locations Fresh Treats Do We Ship? Community Involvement

Puddles is closing

After careful consideration, Kari has decided to sell or close Puddles in 2024.  She is incredibly grateful to you for being such an integral part of Puddles and for helping us grow our connection and community.  It's been a joy to be part of all your celebrations and adventures.

While we search for a buyer for Puddles Barkery, we have halted treat sales in-person and only have the remaining items listed online. If you know of any quality entrepreneurs looking for an established dog treat business, please connect them with Kari. If we find the right buyer, we will announce the new ownership so Puddles can continue its relationship with you.

Refrigerate Treats for a longer shelf life

We focus on quality ingredients and making soft treats. As a result, the shelf life of our treats is shorter than most commercial dog biscuits. The simple solution to extending the life of our treats is to keep them cool.

Our Biscuit Treats are shelf stable for 1-1.5 weeks, depending on how warm it is.  This means that you can bring these treats on all your adventures. In-between adventures, please store treats in the refrigerator for longer shelf-life. If your pup takes more time to enjoy our treats, they can be stored in the freezer up to 6 months with no effect on the treat - they will be soft once thawed.

Our Gourmet Treats (Cannoli, Pupcakes, Cakes) are good for one week in the fridge or the freezer for up to 3 months. The Pupcakes and Cannoli ship well, especially if frozen and sent with an ice pack for longer trips.

Do you ship your treats?

We ship almost all of our products around the USA. Our Puddles Cakes and Frosted Mini Pupcakes have soft frosting, so they do not travel well in the mail. However, all our other treats (including our unfrosted Mini Pupcakes) travel just fine.

To ensure the treats arrive fresh at your doorstep, we send our orders with an ice pack. Most orders made on Thursday-Sunday will be shipped the next Monday. One-day shipping orders can be sent on Thursdays.

Are you involved with your community?

Community involvement is essential to our efforts at Puddles Barkery. We frequently attend events around Seattle, including dog-centric events, farmer’s markets, and craft events. While attending, we educate the public on healthy dog treats and the importance of supporting local. We LOVE meeting your dogs and giving out samples (especially for those picky pups).

We also advocate for adoption. We support our local rescues and other local dog-focused companies by attending their fundraising events or donating to their auctions. We have worked with NW Canine Coalition, WAMAL (Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League), Dog Gone Seattle, Seattle Dogs Homeless Program, Old Dog Haven, Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Emerald City Pet Rescue, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue, Pawsitive Alliance, COLA (Citizens for Off-Leash Areas), PAWS, Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, and more!

We support local businesses by sourcing healthy ingredients from here in Seattle! We source our flour from Shepard’s Grain. Their mission is to save family farms for future generations and to use regenerative farming practices. We get our produce from local farmers.  Our product labels are created by the Seattle-based label solutions company Working Wonders LLC
